LiveJournal and the value of a social network

By haczardous On May 30, 2011 · 5 Comments

One of my long-time LJ friends has migrated to WordPress: One less LJ friend, one less reason to log back in.

I am saddened by the gradual death of LiveJournal (soon to be DeadJournal?) as I think it is one of the pioneers of the Social Web. It was one of the sites [...]

Being in the digital biz has exposed me to a lot of softwares. Some are i really love to use, but there are just some that’s painful.

Why I drink Jack Daniels…

By jotsjots On May 16, 2011 · Leave a Comment

A few reasons why I drink Jack Daniels and not Johnnie Walker.

You may say I’m part of the working class, I am also now in my late 20s. I forgot what advertising people call this group, Yuppie? I don’t normally drink “Scotch whiskey” for a couple of reasons.

First, I never really understood what [...]

My Friday night started with a dinner in Trio a modern italian style resto in the heart of BGC. I was with my good ol’ college orgmates JLO and Rondel. The chicken parmigiana i ordered was absolutely yummy. We also had a few shots of rum coke and a curacao laden drink. After dinner we [...]

  • Greetings Fellow Yuppie!

This is a blog about three young professionals having an adventure in an awesome multi-national digital advertising agency in Manila.

One is a 27 year old guy, named Jots, who is into web design, imagining things, and poetry. He's a hopeless romantic and is mustering up the courage and confidence to fight for his one true love.

The other is Czar, a 23 year old artist who is into many mundane things. Like the google reader, Opera (browser), poetry and geeking out. She also wears flats most of the time as not to tower over her male colleagues.

Last but definitely not the least, is Domeng, a 27 year old sneaker head, web programmer, and a true gaming geek. He will blow you away with his awesome web development skills as well as his ability to play the drums in Rockband.

This blog also concerns many things about their work, or as much as their NDA allows them to disclose.

Morever this blog is an attempt to make extra cash to fund these young professionals' thirst for the extra-ordinary.
