5th International Silent Film Fest at Shangri-la Plaza

By haczardous On July 31, 2011 · 4 Comments

If there’s one Shang film fest I would not miss, it would be this.

The first Silent Film Fest I watched was in 2009, Fantomas: in the shadow of the guillotine (1913). Prior to watching, I thought all along that the music was recorded. I did not expect a LIVE BAND playing vis-a-vis the colossal [...]

Who views your Facebook profile?

By haczardous On June 20, 2011 · 2 Comments

Fact: humanity is narcissistic by nature. Somehow conceit/self-obsession must be part of our primitive survival mechanism. We are consumed with thoughts about who are interested in us. Thus the burning question translated in social media — who views my Facebook profile? Does my boss view my profile? What about my crush? Or my ex-boyfriend?? The [...]

It’s Raining in Gmail!

With Gmail, you can enjoy the weather online or offline…

It’s raining in my screen!
(And while it’s not yet raining outside, maybe it will, in a few…)

One of the awesome themes of Gmail is “Tree”, where a tree sits at the bottom of your screen, and is [...]

By haczardous On June 14, 2011 · Leave a Comment

Twitter finally acknowledges the existence of Philippines, and includes it in the trend locations. Actually the news is already two months old, but I noticed it just now ha ha ha

Also did a little research on how Twitter selects the trend locations…

If you don’t see your country [...]

Van Gogh is Bipolar, at Maginhawa Street

By haczardous On June 8, 2011 · Leave a Comment

Tucked in one of the many holes-in-the-wall in Maginhawa Street Quezon City lies Van Gogh is Bipolar, a small quaint restaurant owned by travel-photographer Jetro.

The house is a feast for the senses. In every corner there is something to discover.

Teacups and clocks was an underlying theme from the potpourri [...]

Facebook, the default online social ID

By haczardous On June 5, 2011 · 4 Comments

A thought starter: Do you know of a millenial who doesn’t have a Facebook account?

It is strange not to have one, no? We’re tacitly expected to have an online social ID, just like an email or like a cellphone number. And those who are still living Facebook-less lives must have a good reason [...]

  • Greetings Fellow Yuppie!

This is a blog about two young professionals having an adventure in a awesome multi-national ad agency in Manila.

One is a 27 year old guy, who is into web design, imagining things, poetry and wishes someday to work for a company that concerns itself in benefiting the general impoverished public.

Whilst the other is a 23 year old artist who is into many mundane things. Like the google reader, Opera (browser), poetry and geeking out. She also wears flats most of the time as not to tower over her male colleagues (ie the other blogger).

This blog also concerns many things about their work, or as much as their NDA allows them to disclose.

Morever this blog is an attempt to make extra cash to fund these two young professionals' thirst for the extra-ordinary.
